Biodynamics
The "Demeter" label identifies producers who use biodynamics as their farming method.
Biodynamics is a positive and regenerative form of organic farming aimed at strengthening the soil and plants, notably through the use of natural preparations and by taking into account the influence of the planets.
Bee Friendly
The "Bee Friendly" label highlights producers with positive environmental farming practices that respect and integrate bees and pollinators within their crops.
Vegan
The "Vegan" label assures the consumer that no animal-derived products were used during the wine production process. Products commonly used in winemaking (gelatine, egg white, casein, etc.), notably during the "fining" phase, are entirely prohibited.
Sulphite-free
Our expertise and our knowledge of the Languedoc terroir allow us to produce quality wines without added sulphites. At Gérard Bertrand, we have thus acquired sufficient experience and understanding of our grape varieties in order to protect our wine from oxidation naturally, without resorting to the addition of sulphites.
