COMPETITION RULES  

“Win a stay in the heart of the Cévennes with Jardin d’Oriane”

ARTICLE 1 – ORGANISING COMPANY

The company SPH GERARD BERTRAND, a simplified single-shareholder joint-stock company (SASU) with a share capital of 6,000,000 euros, having its registered office at Route de Narbonne Plage, 11100 Narbonne, registered in the Narbonne Trade and Companies Register under SIREN number 382 338 952, hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser", is running a free competition entitled:

“Win a stay in the heart of the Cévennes with Jardin d’Oriane”

hereinafter referred to as the "Competition".

The Competition is running from 1 June 2026 at 00:00 to 1 July 2027 at 23:59, Paris time.

ARTICLE 2 – CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

The Competition is free of charge and no purchase is necessary.

It is open to any natural person:

• aged 18 or over on the date of entry;
• residing in metropolitan France;
• having a valid email address and, where the Competition is run on a social network, a valid personal account on the network concerned.

Employees of the Organiser, as well as anyone who has directly or indirectly participated in the design, organisation, or running of the Competition, and members of their household, are ineligible to enter.

Only one entry per person is permitted throughout the duration of the Competition, unless expressly stated otherwise on the entry medium.

Any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, submitted after the deadline, or does not comply with the terms of these rules may be declared void.

ARTICLE 3 – ENTRY PROCESS

To enter the Competition, between 1 June and 1 July 2026 inclusive, participants must go to the page, complete the form, accept the competition rules and submit the form.

No purchase of wine or any other product is required to enter.

Entering the Competition is not conditional on agreeing to receive marketing communications from the Organiser.

ARTICLE 4 – WINNER SELECTION

At the end of the entry period, one winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries.

The prize draw will take place no later than 10 July 2027.

The winner will be contacted by email using the contact details provided upon entry.

The winner must confirm acceptance of their prize and provide the necessary details for its arrangement within 7 calendar days following the sending of the message informing them of their win.

Failing a response within this period, or if the winner does not meet the conditions set out in these rules, they may be deemed to have forfeited their prize. The Organiser may then proceed to select a runner-up winner.

Proof of identity to verify the winner's age may be requested before the prize is awarded or redeemed.

ARTICLE 5 – PRIZE

The winner will receive a stay for two people in the heart of the Cévennes, including:

• two nights for two people in a Cévennes gîte as a weekend package from Friday evening to Sunday
• accommodation at the Mas des Passerelles in Bagard, subject to availability;
• in the event of unavailability, accommodation of equivalent standard or services may be offered in a partner establishment located in the Cévennes, in particular Les Terrasses en Cévennes in Saint-Jean-de-Valeriscle or Une Pause en Douceur in Saint-Césaire-de-Gauzignan, subject to availability;
• breakfast for two people during the stay;
• a vineyard tour organised with Trottingard for two people, including a tasting, subject to availability and the service provider’s operational conditions.

The total indicative commercial value of the prize is:

€660 incl. VAT

of which, for information purposes, the Trottingard service is valued at approximately €110 for two people.

The value of the stay in accommodation is valued with tourist tax at €450 for two people.

ARTICLE 6 – CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE STAY

The stay will be organised directly with the winner, subject to the availability of accommodation and partner service providers.

The dates of the stay must be chosen and confirmed before 31 July 2027 for a stay taking place no later than 31 December 2027.

Certain periods may be excluded, including closure periods, public holidays, peak periods, or dates on which partners have no availability.

The dates of the stay will only be finalised after written confirmation from the Organiser or its partners.

The winner must be present during the stay. The second person accompanying the winner must also be of legal age to participate in any tasting of alcoholic beverages.

 

ARTICLE 7 – SERVICES NOT INCLUDED

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the following are notably not included in the prize:

• return transport between the winner’s home and the Cévennes;
• local travel and transfers during the stay;
• meals other than the breakfasts expressly provided;
• personal expenses;
• any additional activities;
• personal or travel insurance;
• any service not expressly mentioned in Article 5.

These expenses remain the exclusive responsibility of the winner and their accompanying guest.

 

ARTICLE 8 – NATURE OF THE PRIZE

The prize is non-transferable.

It cannot give rise to any financial compensation, refund, exchange for cash, or replacement with another good or service at the winner's request.

In the event that it is impossible, for reasons beyond the Organiser’s control, to provide all or part of the services initially planned, in particular in the event of the unavailability of accommodation or a service provider, the Organiser may replace the service concerned with a service of comparable characteristics and value.

The Organiser cannot be held liable solely on the grounds of such substitution, provided that the nature and overall value of the prize remain equivalent.

 

ARTICLE 9 – LIABILITY

The Organiser cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control likely to disrupt or prevent the conduct of the Competition or the fulfilment of the stay.

In particular, the Organiser shall not be held liable for:

• unavailability or changes attributable to partner accommodations or service providers;
• weather conditions;
• the cancellation or impossibility of organising an activity for safety reasons;
• transport difficulties encountered by the winner;
• any behaviour by the winner or their accompanying guest contrary to the rules established by the service providers.

The Organiser may modify, postpone, shorten, or cancel the Competition if circumstances beyond its control require it, without incurring any liability, subject to compliance with applicable regulations.

 

ARTICLE 10 – WINE TASTING AND ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

The wine tasting included in the stay is strictly reserved for adults of legal drinking age.

No consumption of alcoholic beverages is mandatory to enjoy the stay or take part in the tour. Anyone who does not wish to consume alcohol may take part in the tour under the conditions offered by the service provider.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health; consume in moderation.

 

ARTICLE 11 – PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected as part of the Competition is processed by SPH GERARD BERTRAND in order to ensure:

• managing entries;
• verifying compliance with the terms of the Competition;
• conducting the prize draw;
• contacting the winner;
• organising and awarding the prize;
• handling any complaints.

Information essential for participation is identified as such on the entry form.

The data collected as part of the Competition will not be used to send marketing communications to the participant unless they have consented separately, freely, and expressly, in particular by means of a dedicated, unticked checkbox.

The data will only be accessible to authorised personnel of the Organiser and, where necessary for awarding the prize, to service providers involved in organising the stay.

They will be retained for the time necessary to manage the Competition and any complaints, in accordance with applicable regulations and the Organiser's privacy policy.

In accordance with applicable regulations on personal data protection, each participant has rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and, where applicable, objection regarding their data.

These rights may be exercised with the Organiser at the address specified in its privacy policy or at:

Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

ARTICLE 12 – FRAUD AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR

Any attempt at fraud, unauthorised multiple entries, use of false identities, automated entries, or, more generally, circumventing the rules of the Competition will result in the cancellation of the entry concerned.

The Organiser reserves the right to carry out any necessary checks regarding the identity, age, and contact details of participants.

ARTICLE 13 – ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES

Participation in the Competition implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules.

It can also be provided free of charge to anyone who requests it from the Organiser.

ARTICLE 14 – APPLICABLE LAW AND CLAIMS

These rules are governed by French law.

Any difficulty regarding the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions must be notified to the Organiser at the following address:

The Organiser and the participant will endeavour to seek an amicable solution to any dispute relating to the Competition, without prejudice to any rights enjoyed by the participant pursuant to mandatory statutory provisions.
